Get-Med Solutions served as the Medic Team for Africa Oil Week (AOW) 2026

Get-Med Solutions Limited was appointed once again as the official Medic Team for Africa Oil Week (AOW) 2026, hosted at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra. The conference brought together energy ministers, investors, operators, exhibitors and delegates from across Africa and beyond, and required medical cover that could match the scale and profile of the event.

Our clinicians ran a fully equipped medic room for the full duration of the programme. Services included delegate health screening, vital-signs and blood-pressure monitoring, first aid, treatment of minor illness, emergency standby cover and coordinated referral to partner hospitals where onward care was needed. The team was made up of emergency-trained nurses, paramedics and a supervising clinician, supported by patient monitors, defibrillation and resuscitation equipment, emergency drugs and consumables replenished daily.

Cover extended beyond the main halls to the exhibition floor and evening side events, including the Ministerial Leadership Dinner, so that delegates, exhibitors and organisers always had a qualified medic within reach. Response protocols, escalation routes and ambulance standby arrangements were agreed with the venue and organisers before the doors opened.

Every consultation was documented and reported to the organisers at the close of the event, giving them a clear record of incidents, response times and outcomes — a standard of accountability international organisers increasingly expect from their medical partners.

Returning for a second consecutive year reflects the confidence built during AOW 2025 and our growing partnership with international event organisers operating in Ghana.
